Jeff Gonzalez, RRT-NPS, serves as Director of Clinical Operations for Nebraska Heart. In this position, Jeff oversees the day-to-day operation of the Nebraska Heart Institute’s Nuclear Medicine, Echocardiography, Vascular and Arrhythmia departments as well as serving as liaison with the 40 communities in Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas where NHI provides mobile patient diagnostic services. Additionally, Jeff has responsibility for the Nebraska Heart Hospital’s imaging services that include echo, vascular and computed tomography (CT), as well as the Hospital’s Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Disorders Lab.

Prior to the role of Clinical Operations Director, Jeff began his career with Nebraska Heart in 2003 as Imaging and Respiratory Care Team Leader for the Nebraska Heart Hospital. Previous to joining Nebraska Heart, Jeff worked in the health care field for more than 13 years.

Jeff is originally from western Nebraska. He and his wife, Gayle, live in Lincoln. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. Jeff’s son also works at Nebraska Heart.
