Responsible for providing full-time professional cardiology medical services including examining and treating disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system; performing invasive medical procedures to help with diagnosis or treatment, consultation and follow up care for cardiology patients; performing procedures that include all aspects of exercise and pharmacological stress testing, transthoracic and transeesophageal echocardiography, nuclear stress testing and imaging; and all aspects of cardiac catheterization laboratory. Minimum 40 hours per week with frequent on-call and weekend duty. Travel is required. Must have MD or equivalent and a Nebraska Medical License; maintain Board certification in Internal Medicine, and Board eligible or Board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Adult Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Must also have 3 years Internal Medicine Residency training, and at least 3 years of fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine. Excellent salary and benefits with partnership opportunity.
