Deepak M. Gangahar, M.D. Education: Dr. Gangahar received his M.B.B.S. from the Government Medical College at Patiala in Punjab, India. Training: He also completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Government Medical College at Patiala and then completed a general surgery residency at the French Polyclinic Medical School and Health Center in New York, New York. He completed a thoracic and cardiovascular residency at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospital in Salt Lake City. Specialization: He is certified by the American Board of General Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Practice Locations: Dr. Gangahar primarily sees patients at the medical office building in Lincoln as well as the Heart Hospital. Personal Interests: Dr. Gangahar's wife, Kiran, is a cardiologist in Omaha, NE. They have two children - their daughter, Deepali, and son, Chiraag, are attending medical school. Dr. Gangahar enjoys distance running, scuba diving, and traveling. |
