Stephen J. Ackerman, M.D.

Education:
Dr. Ackerman received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Training:
He completed his internal medicine residency in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then completed a cardiology and electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Virginia Health Science Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Specialization:
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty boards of cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology.

Practice Locations:
Dr. Ackerman primarily sees patients at the medical office building in Lincoln as well as the Heart Hospital. Twice a month he visits patients in Hastings and Grand Island.
