"Quality" means ensuring each patient is treated with respect, kindness and dignity by every member of the Nebraska Heart Hospital team.
Measuring Quality In order to gauge how Nebraska Heart Hospital is doing with regard to patient care, we employ a variety of measurement techniques that help guide our process of care. Quality can be measured by evaluating any or all of the following: medical outcomes, applications of evidence-based processes known to enhance care, volume of patients successfully treated and the safety record of the organization. Setting Goals Nebraska Heart Hospital strives to be in the top tier of performance for all quality measures. We recognize the ongoing need for quality improvement and process change and continually seek opportunities to improve all areas of patient care, research and education.
